Zoetelief family
Villa Rentals Texel was founded fifteen years ago by Gerard and Ria Zoetelief. The couple were a good team: Gerard built the villas and Ria cared for the layout and the rentals. "Over the years, our daughter, Jetteke and son Gerbrand with his wife Christine have joined the business, and together we are the family Zoetelief."
Ria: "I was born in Gendringen and have lived in Texel since 1968, where I married Gerard Zoetelief – a native of Texel. After several companies in the hospitality industry, we established Villa Rentals Texel fifteen years ago – we own the houses at the Buitenhof, Landleven and the Witte Hoek. All the houses were built by Gerard and I work behind the scenes where it is necessary. Gerard still keeps busy with the construction and upkeep of the properties. Together we have three children, Kirsten - who no longer lives on Texel - and Gerbrand & Jetteke, who, together with Christine, run Villa Rentals Texel.”
Gerbrand: "We live with our two children, Chanel and Louis, where the reception is located at Villa Rentals Texel. I was born in Texel and Christine has been living in Texel since 2008. Since January 2016 we have owned the houses on Bleekerscoogh and it is our job to manage and rent the houses on Bleekerscoogh, the Buitenhof, Landleven and the Witte Hoek.”
Jetteke: "Like my brother, I was born on Texel and live with my two children Sophie and Thomas at the reception of Waddenstaete in De Koog. I do the rental and management of the Waddenstaete villapark.
